Lomography Awards: Breaking Boundaries: Local Guides

For this competition, share the stories of the tour guides who helped you navigate through a foreign place.

These local heroes are practically walking guide books. They know where the best hole-in-the-wall restaurants are, the fastest routes to popular sites, and the secrets to scoring cheap souvenirs. Without their extensive knowledge, some of us would have probably spent much of our travels getting lost and frustrated. Honor these hardworking tour guides and share how they helped you discover their locality through a wanderlust-inducing photograph.

Each participant can submit up to 10 photographs. This competition, which serves as the qualifying round for the "Breaking Boundaries" competition, is open to all.
