My favourite picture from this album. Temples fascinate me. Perhaps due to personal conflicts with religion. I want to stay in a Chinese Guan Yin or Buddha temple once in my life. I crave for that peacefulness every time I step into a temple. Despite all the smoke from the incense, the bells, chattering, chanting, grandmas telling the younger ones what to do, when I walk up the stairs, that noise turns into a silent composure. Silence used to be a punishment, "the Vow of Silence", at least to me. Silence then became comforting.
