From 1995-1996, I stayed in Pakistan for work reason, mostly in the Thar desert area, Sindh Province, near Hadrabad. Those fotos are the only ones left, cause I lost most of them for some stupid reasons. Now my olympus om1 is gone, the 70-150mm vivita zoom is gone. However the country is often in my dream, as well as the nice people there...

I can beat you for precious camera and lens lost!! I loaned a Canon VT with a Zunow f/1.1 5cm lens on it to a friend, years ago, and never got it back, yet. The photos of my baklava article (check out article) were taken with it in 1978. My friend, I loaned it to, died 2 years ago, and his widow found it in his belongings, but it's still buried in his stuff under mountains of boxes. She says she will return it, but she hoards stuff (see American Pickers TV show). I also lost all my photos from Viet Nam and US Navy in 1969-70. Mustn't lose history!!
