The weather was nice; so we took a break and poked around down by the water.

That is an interesting color gradient. Do you think it was the film itself?

(@neanderthalis) No it's two different cokin graduated filters: Cokin A. 661 and Cokin A. 663. Those are the later series ones. I take two different colors and put them in opposite of each other to get that split color look. The film actually cast really blue; it's getting old but I have about 50+ rolls of this AGFA HDC 100 10-Exps.

Thanks for sharing that info. I have never tried graduated filters, but on my "to do" list.

(@neanderthalis) For sure! Ebay is a great place to find them; other retailers charge way to much used Cokin Filters. Figure out what thread you need for your lenses (I know AE-1 lenses are about 52mm) get a Cokin A holder. They are really good for lenses that have a Focal length of 50mm and longer. Shorter then that you run the risk of getting that heavy vignetting and you'll have to step to a larger holder and most of the filters don't wort too well on wide angle lenses.
