Under blue skies...

Siberia. Altai. Autumn. Under the blue sky, autumn, as usual, slowly paints the fields and forests in their favorite colors. #Siberia #Autumn #Altai #Fields #panorama

    Dear CROSSCHANNEL.
Thank you for your attention, opinion and emotions.
Dear CROSSCHANNEL. Especially for you, I decided to clarify the details and the location of the filming of this film.
"The second major filming location for Doctor Zhivago was chosen in the province of Soria, 200 kilometers northeast of Madrid. The scenery of the village of Varykino was built here..."
And I thought that only to me, some European landscapes sometimes resemble Siberian ones ...

Wow, this is new to me. However, comparing your image with the set up, pretty close. I know of a setup in Germany, film was 'The Last station' , dedicated to Tolstoy. I have been there and also there, very good job.

    Dear CROSSCHANNEL.
I think that the people who created these great
films, there is something to be proud of. It is difficult to overestimate their creative contribution to the cultural heritage of mankind. And as for nature, thank you, only after your comparison I had the idea to see where everything is ...

Is this a cropped image? Because I can't remember Olympus OM2n as a panoramic camera.

    Dear MICHAEL_LAPTEV.
Thank you for your attention, opinion and emotions.
For my images, I use the word "panorama" in cases where the image is assembled from two or more frames. For example, this image is probably assembled from 4 horizontal frames that I took with the OLYMPUS OM 2n camera.

Nice to know :) I assume you did this digitally after scanning all four frames? I love to shoot panoramic images (mostly digital and assembled with Lightroom CC), and it's fascinating what approaches other photographers have when it comes to panoramic photography

    Dear MICHAEL_LAPTEV.
After scanning the film, you have in your hands, for example, JPG, which in its properties is no different from the one you received from the camera (with some reservations). So in my opinion there is no difference. The result will depend only on you. But every time I do this, I tell myself: you are doing this for the last time. Some time passes and the cycle repeats. This tine briefly about the features...

    Dear MICHAEL_LAPTEV.
Try it yourself first please. The result is not predictable, so the process can be interesting. But most importantly, often enough, these skills are very useful. On this resource, the concept of the panorama is greatly expanded in the creative definition. This enhances the interest in this process. Perhaps there will be questions. I will gladly answer, or rather we discuss it or perhaps hard debate. Always happy to have this kind of conversation.
