...in the shackles of Winter.

You recognize? I'll give you a hint. Siberia. Winter. Mid December. A one-story fairy-tale town between mountains and beautiful forests stands on the right bank of the Biya River... The second day is a snowstorm. Solicitous and vigorous river Biya in the shackles of Winter. P.S. These photographs were taken with Fujicolor Superia G Plus 400 color film. This film failed to detect color in this seething scene. #Siberia #Altai #river #winter #December #Biya #panorama #reportage #snowstorm #coast

    Dear SONVISEN.
Thank you for your attention, opinion and emotions.
You rarely find the strength in yourself to go out with a film camera at least on the street in such fabulous weather. And on the banks of the Biya River - especially not easy. There was a very strong wind from the opposite bank. And I was afraid that the snow would cover the lens if you turn the lens towards it. After that, shooting will be impossible. Therefore, the right frame is not fully expanded.
And I also take this opportunity to congratulate you on the holidays. I wish you always a good mood, wich always PLUS regardless of the weather.

    Dear BOXERCLAUS.
Thank you for your attention, opinion and emotions.
I would like to take this opportunity to inform you once again that this panorama was assembled from several frames that were made on Fujicolor Superia G Plus 400 color negative film last year. As you know, this is a very popular film of the mid-90s. My experience was not enough to have more details and colors on this untested film in this weather. But, I think you will understand me if I confess that in such a snowstorm without a camera and without any kind of film it is often difficult to find not only details, but simply a house in which you are expected.
And I also take this opportunity to congratulate you on the holidays. I wish you always a good mood, wich always PLUS regardless of the weather.

@awa-awa Pardon. I didn't see your description at all but only your photo. Yes, agree, it is not immediately apparent that color film has been used. Normally there would be a splash of color in the white snow, but there is virtually no hint of color in the image, maybe different if you have the original and look at the pixels. However, that does not change the fact that I think the image is beautifully composed and that BW really shines in such weather. I wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year with lots of photos and hopefully an end to the war in Ukraine, in a way that everyone can benefit from, although maybe not Putin himself.

@awa-awa Photographing in the winter in our countries is a challenge but the reward is greater. Your beautiful pictures is evidence to that. Merry Christmas! ⭐️

    Dear BOXERCLAUS.
Thanks for the attention to detail in this photo. I want to support your confidence and expand your experience. You are absolutely right in assessing the state of the scans of these frames. When I discovered that there was no other color in the photo besides the color noise, I muted these colors of noise. For example, purple and other red.. But again, it was just noise.
