A calm walk that I love to do, starting from my neighborhood, and going up the Eure river, making me forget that I am still in town... I had my Minolta X300 this time, but I shot also with an Ultra Wide & Slim, and with a Petri Color 35, so there is more to come from this lonely lomowalk 😎
In camera Lumen photo Old Citroen pizza van in the courtyard at the historic Rufford Abbey Country Park. Quite a fast exposure at 35 mins because the strong sunshine would blow out the chromed Citroen insignia. In camera colour unchanged after inversion. 20 year expired paper wetted in mild alkali.
Probably my favourite pinhole photo I have taken to date. Old oaks in winter lining one of the tracks at Brierley Forest Park. I love the grain in the film.
Old church viewed across ripening barley. Long expired unknown Russian film bought in a loose bundle without packaging. I had no idea of storage and likely age but looked like the expired Smena film I had been using. The Agfa Isoly III has a good lens and the 4x4 negatives are crisp and clear with new film.
Old Ash trees in a farmer's field with bungalows on the skyline. In camera lumen on long expired Kodak Polycontrast paper and a 2 hour exposure. This was taken using my newly converted Coronet F20 pseudo TLR wide open with shutter and aperture removed. A 'nothing special' camera punching above its weight when used differently to original intended purpose.
Steetley Chapel with Yew tree. The ornately carved Norman doorway is an incredibly important heritage feature of national importance. 2 hour + exposure on wetted expired paper in gentle winter sunlight. The lumen photo should not have exposed this well given the meagre light levels!
Lovely hollow oak at Calke Abbey National Nature Reserve, Derbyshire, UK. Taken using an old 6x9 box camera and put onto acetate. 8 minute exposure under self made UV light, twice coated watercolour paper.
