The world's biggest polluters are also the big economies. And with the alarming carbon emission levels of this planet, the brunt of the climate change is impacting more and worst on poor and developing countries that are made extra-vulnerable to natural disasters. Something has to be drastically done to address the situation. Hope the Conference of Polluters (COP17) in Durban, South Africa this December 2011 will make progress towards climate justice. I joined a peaceful people's rally on climate change near the US Embassy in Manila calling on these big economies like US and Japan to do something to reduce their carbon emissions and make reparations for the environmental impacts of their past actions that has largely contributed to the worsening issue of global warming and climate change. Doubled my redscaled shots with images of the effects of global warming. Then prior to developing, gave my roll a vinegar bath.

It was my best friend's birthday and I had rented a helium bottle to fill balloons. When we saw how beautiful the sunset was, we (my best friend, her boyfriend and a family friend) went outside and took turns taking photos.

  • Isolation

I find 2 ways to separate myself from others. The second one is simple but I cannot do it everytime I want to be alone. Go to the far end of the world, find a big dune to climb and watch the world from there. This is Namibia which is one of the most isolated places in the world. Nice place to get lost.

It's a bird! ... No, it's a plane! ... Hey wait, is that a dog? Uh-huh, looks like it is one jumping (or flying) in the air! And in this fancy moment, why not take a Lomograph? Make it redscale, too! (POTD 04.16.12)
