I always remember having a camera in my hands. The first camera I remember using was my mom's Kodak Ektralite in the early 80's to capture anyone and anything on film. It wasn't until I was in college that I took an artistic interest in the medium.
With analogue photography an almost extinct species in Puerto Rico (there might be one photo lab left in the metro area and DIY labs charge an average of $10 an hour) it was very exciting to discover Lomography. I have to admit that, after a good 5 years without working with analog, my first attempt with my new Diana F+ was a complete FAILURE. So embarrassing (lol) I refuse to show any of the pictures from that first roll of 35mm film. It was very humbling and refreshing. I look forward to regaining my "analog mojo"!
