Something was wrong with this film. At some pics there were shadows of the sprockets. Also the film film itself had some marks. But here it came out nice.

My grand-parents owned this farm 50 years ago and they were self-sufficient or so. They cultivated their own flowers, vegetables and fruits, they had chickens, eggs, ducks, meat from sheep and oxen, they used to sale whool, they had fishes and frogs from the lake besides the village. The only things they bought from local shop-keepers were cheese, dry sausages, oysters and wine. A lot of wine !!! Now my cousin and his sons cultivate the land, but they buy food stuff at the supermarket : pickles from India, beans from China, roses from Ecuador... What a strange world.

Processed in Rodinal 8.5 minutes at 23°C. I think for a while I won't waste time trying to keep chemistry at given temperature.

When I was young I made a photo report of a Dutch farmer. He milked his cows by hand in the meadow. The photos I took with an old Voigtländer Vito and I developed the film and the prints in Amaloco products. I had a Crocus enlarger and used Agfa paper.

Fresh film from Finland (now available), processed in Rodinal like Tri-X400@1600, 1+50, 17.35 minutes at 20.5°C. I love its contrast... Very thin film, uneasy to handle but quite flat. It doesn't like poor light or 1/2 stop over-exposure.
