Belair 6x12 & 35mm Back

now i will have to do a ground glass so i can calibrate the viewfinder to panorama with 35mm film

    Very nice. I think you could probably get pretty good results without calibrating focus to 35mm film by simply stopping down to f22 or smaller. Maybe even at f11. The curl of 35mm will probably be more pronounced than the fine focus adjustment could help, anyway.

    @ozarque the quality of the photos is similar to Sprocket Rocket. Plastic optics always remain plastic optics dressed sporty or elegant.. .
    it's a very nice camera, but if it's no longer made, there must be a reason. the plastic is thin in important places (e.g. the mounts on the 6x6, 6x9 & 6x12 frames) and the very good zenit belairgon glass lenses are expensive and hard to find.
    the viewfinder mount on the camera (turned into a slot) is all plastic, and will not have a long life expectancy.
    a nice (expensive, because rare) toy for special occasions. but you can fall in love, haha!!!!
