The thunderstorm was right in front of my window. So, after a view minutes of watching the lightnings come down, I decided to open the window, take my Lubitel, a gorillapod and a cable release. I let the shutter open for a very long time until finally lightning struck! This was an experiment, so I was very happy that it turned out that good!

I pulled the LC-A+ RL setting to 400ISO, because it was sunny but the result came out a bit under. - This film remind and reduce the sense of missed about old XPRO 100 that came out blueish when you crossprocess it. Love it!

Some macro shots with the Lensbaby. Tends to get fuzzed out easily especially with film, digital usually yields better results I think with this particular setup. But the doubles are fun. :)

    shared by i_am_four-eyes on 2010-01-24

Each shade of blue... Is kept in our eyes... Keep blowing and lightnin... Because we own the sky... Secrets from the winds... Burnt stars crying... Soft soft or cruel... Can't we change our minds?... We kill what we build... Because we own the sky... Secrets from the winds... Burnt stars crying... So many moons here ... Lost wings floating... It's coming, it's coming on!... It's coming, it's coming on!... What's coming? ... What's coming now?... What's coming?... What's coming now?... It's coming from the sky... It's coming from the wind ... : We Own the Sky Lyrics by M83

I put this roll in the freezer for days, hoping for something colorful, actually I don't know if I've be successful or not. The only thing that I'm sure is that I happy that I found some kids in the street that helped me in this experiment . I used the Diana Close up lens for the flowers layer, only one photo of flower is without this leans because the flower were not reachable:) I love the dream effect of this lens with the LC-A+ !!! Kids are precious!!! Unfortunatelly this alley will be destroy soon :(

Doubles with fractals generated mostly with Chaos Pro 4.0, a freeware by Martin Pringstl, photographed with an old SLR, from an old CRT monitor with brightness set at painful, and, then rewound and with same SLR photographed assorted flowers around the neighbourhood. The film was developed and scanned at a CVS Photo Kiosk. The negatives look pretty dense. I think the riot grrrls at CVS helped out, somehow, at the scan. I didn't do much to them. Anyway, I'm proud of these. Enjoy.
