Please tell us something about yourself and what you do.

I’m an International Management student. Besides photography, I like mountain biking, traveling, and hanging out with my friends. I got my first film camera when I was a child and since then, I never stopped shooting.

How did you find the community and who/what convinced you to join?

It happened by chance when I was looking for some photography tips. Then after browsing through thousands of amazing pictures by other members, I realized joining the community would motivate me to shoot more.

As you have read the 10 Golden Rules of Lomography, what rule do you apply in your everyday life?

Rule #10: “Don’t worry about any rules.”

In this digital age, why still film?

Because I find the unpredictability of the result very exciting.

Your favorite analog camera as of the moment? Why?

My Olympus OM-10 because besides being fairly easy to use, it also allowed me to learn about the technical aspects of photography.

What is the Lomographic camera you’d want to have someday?

I’d say it’s the Lomo Lubitel 166+. I’d like to try a TLR camera and to venture into medium format photography with one.

Any song or movie you live by?

“Badlands” by Bruce Springsteen

Share your current favorite Lomograph, could be yours or a friend’s. Why?

This is a picture I took in Hong Kong. I really love the bright colors, the different shades of red, and the light.

Any community member you look up to? If so, why him or her?

Definitely haydenwilliams. I wish I could be half as creative as he is!

What are you looking forward to in our community?

Getting inspired to try new techniques.
