Tipster: Spherical Masterpieces with the Fisheye and Circle Cutter

The Fisheye camera produces circular and sphere-angled images — a mere square frame is just not enough for an adequate presentation! But don't worry, that's what the Circle Cutter is for: so you can frame your Fisheye prints perfectly!

Step 1

First you need a fisheye camera, for example, our Fisheye No. 2 . Insert a film and just shoot away. Make sure you have enough light or use the flash to avoid underexposed shots - sunny summer days are optimal for fun photos! For maximum fisheye effect, get as close to your subject as possible.

Step 2

Now you have to develop your film, or have it developed - for example in our LomoLab. Don't forget to make prints of your shots, which you can later turn into small works of art!

Step 3

Now the Circle Cutter comes into play. It has three radii, so you can choose in which size you want to cut out your photo. Carefully loosen the screw cap on the corresponding blade and slide it down a bit. Then tighten the screw cap so that the blade can no longer slide back.

Step 4

Place the Circle Cutter carefully on your photo where you want to cut it out. Then press firmly on the red button in the middle of the circle cutter to secure it and turn the blue part with the blade in a full circle. It's best to apply light pressure here as well, to make sure the photo paper is cut smoothly. And Voilà - that's how quickly you shape your print into a spherical form!

ATTENTION: put something underneath so as not to damage your table!

Step 5

Now it's time for your creativity and some experimentation! You can assemble your photos into one big work of art using the clips that come with the Circle Cutter. But it doesn't end here — if you use the Circle Cutter with two blades at the same time, you can cut strips out of your picture and join them together in wild collages. Step 6

Now you just need to find a suitable place to hang your new artwork, because your creativity should not disappear in the drawer!

Was a piece of cake, right? Creativity can be so easy and now you have a really unique decoration for that empty wall space! And there's more great news: the Circle Cutter is now 50% off or bundled with a fisheye camera and LomoChrome film for free! What are you waiting for? Check out our Fisheye Family and get creative!
