There's some trick photography / fakery going on in this album..... Not in THIS particular shot, but this picture serves as evidence of some clever tampering..... I doff my cap to you, Sir.
    .
These shots are FAR TOO clear for a camera with a plastic lens.
The Holga is notoriously "soft focus" and these images are suspiciously PIN SHARP.

Also: On the beach shots, look at the direction of the shadows in relation to the position of the sun.

Shadows go FROM:shore TO:sea (Castle in background is my frame of reference):

Shadows fall ALONG the coast line (castle in background is my frame of reference):

This is an angle difference of 90 degrees.... Oops! ;-)

There's some questionable lighting going on here :D
This doesn't stop them being beautiful pictures, but I'd love to understand the process you used to achieve these.

I'd love it, love it, love it if you'd share your secret to taking such clear photos with a Holga 120CFN...... But for now, I'm going to remain skeptical ;-)

"evidence"??? ...I don't know what you're trying to say here, you're comparing 2 photographs that have been taken at different times and from different angles. The second photo has been taken earlier when the sun was higher and the shadows aren't shadows they're reflections. It's taken much closer to the sea and the beach is completely wet creating a mirror affect. This photo above has been taken right before the sun disappears behind the cliffs, AND it's taken from much further away from the sea, closer to the cliffs where the sand isn't so wet.
Holgas CAN achieve sharp images, I've seen plenty as sharp as these. The key is they have a soft focus towards the edges like a tunnel effect which all of mine do. Look right at the edges of the frame. Don't forget the quality of medium format film too, the detail captured is far greater then any of todays digital cameras.
No need to doff your cap, I loaded my holga and shot some pictures and that's that. I have the negatives to prove it. If you look at my home you'll see I've got more pictures from this scene from my other cameras too that I took at the same time. Or did I fake these too???
