Frankfurt City

Yesterday was a semi sunny day (the only one in the last two weeks and also for the next days as per forecast). Hence I decided to do a city stroll through Frankfurt with my Kiev 88 cube, loaded with Fomapan 100 expired and stand developed in Rodinal 1+100 for 1 hour. Some of the shots were hopelessly overexposed. The diffuser of the simple selen light meter often sways in front of the measuring unit unnoticed providing the wrong exposure values. Anyway - I am still happy with the outcome.

@klawe Yes it seems to be. It is quite a historical bridge - the so called Iron Steg (iron pedestrian bridge) and had been first constructed in 1868 - but changed and rebuild many times. But current construction is based on the version of 1912. The greek inscription is from 1999 made by an artist; a quote from Homers' Odyssee. The meaning is: «Auf weinfarbenem Meer segelnd zu anderen Menschen»(Sailing on a wine-coloured sea to other people). It connects the old town of Frankfurt with Frankfurt Sachsenhausen (crossing the Main).
