Hi, im travelling to vietnam this year and plan on taking some aerochrome with me. How did you handle the xray scanners at the airports? Did you let them scan the film or did you insist on hand inspection? Thanks in advance! David

Hey there David !! I try to ask hand checking in every scanner and every airport of the world, but they rarely accept. In Vietnam they didn't understand my point, at all^^. Most of my films have gone through the scans in the end :( but up to 400iso it doesn't affect too much (they get grainy dirty when passing through too many scanners though..).
For a film as expensive as Aerochrome I don't try my luck with security controls, I take this film in a jeans backpocket to avoid scans.
I had Aerochrome a couple of times in the scans; they didn't seem altered afterwards but with this kind of versatile film you can never be sure..
Good luck enjoy Aerochrome and Vietnam, nice combo ;)
