Ferrari F340

Extremely happy with these first rolls in the Christmas present I bought myself this year: a Mamiya C330 Professional TLR, from about 1970, for which I paid £200. And the annual classic car meeting in my town, on a sunny April morning, was the perfect occasion to test it. I think I just might have found myself a new favourite medium-format camera...! :-)

How did you scan the film edges?

@russellmcbride I put the negatives flat on the scanner (an Epson V600) without the holder. Thanks for your interest!

@buckshot ... How are the negatives able to lay flat without the holder and how are you able to line it up accurately? I use the same scanner and would like to scan this way. - Thanks.

@russellmcbride If the negatives are curled up it's better to use the holder (or flatten them under heavy books for a few days first). The medium-format negs I get from the lab are generally already nice and flat, so it's easy to just plonk them on the scanner glass and align them more or less straight (the images can be straightened later in e.g. Photoshop if necessary). Hope this helps!
