First film from Lomo Konstruktor
I attended the launch party for the Konstruktor at the Lomography Gallery Store Chicago and bought this sweet DIY slr camera! It took about an hour to assemble and another 1/2 hour of troubleshooting to get the kinks out. If you overtighten or undertighten screws the shutter may not operate properly. Also some of the parts needed a little jiggling to get them to fit and work together. In other words, it took a couple tries to get the camera operating properly. But what did you expect from a $35 camera? The images are reasonable sharp for a single element f10 lens! I particularly like the bokeh at 0.5M.
