Impressions from the Lippepark in Hamm. It is a recreation park build on the terrain and piles of the former coal mine Franz (Zeche Franz). Although it looks a bit barren like most of these places it's a nice place to be with children. The lovely @heikerk goes there often with her boys. *gg*
The images where taken during a flight over the dunes near Sossusvlei, Namibia at the late afternoon. I think that the very warm tone slide film meets the colours of the landscape beautifully. Unfortunately the pictures are a little bit foggy because of the plexiglas windows of the aircraft.
The images where taken short after sunset in the Namib-Naukluft National Park. Only around 30 minutes for 36 fames. This was more photo journalism than landscape photography. I especially like the warm colours producted by the tungsten film.
Images taken at Schloß Nordkirchen the secret paradise for Pokémon hunters and the education center for all budding tax inspectors of the state Nordrhein Westfalen. Come and see this place -perhaps not in pouring rain as we did - and you will be rewarded with plenty of Magikarps (Kapadors) and Psyducks (Entons). *gg*
These are my "raw scans" I use as a starting point for further processing. Raw means scaned with SilverFast Software to HDRi raw format at full resolution of the scanner. Developed with SilverFast HDR Studio to JPEG - using Negafix film profiles, iSRD dust and scratch removal where possible and GANE grain- and noise elimination if needed. The images are scalled down during die "development" process to reflect the gap between the nominal resolution of the scanner and the much lower effective resolution the hardware provides (35mm to 6000x4000 px, 120 film scaled to 6000x6000 or 6000x4500 px). These JPEGs are imported to Lightroom for easier cropping, rotating and applying meta data. These Lightroom exported images are the real "raw" data I use for any further processing.
