Here's the print version of a scan I posted a few days ago. It took 3 sheets of paper to get here but I think it was worth it. I dodged Ellas face quite a bit and burned in the clouds. I suppose the negative is a little underexposed as there is really not try much detail in her face but there is a marked difference here compared to the scan. Agree?

Definitely more detail. I can't decide which I prefer so I prefer them both.

@malcolm_tremain that's ok then :) at least you can see the difference too and its not just me! Although printing is a pain in the arse sometimes I do think that its worthwhile.

@MALCOLM_TREMAIN Simon the photo is amazing in it's feel and emotion to begin with. the print has a lovely texture, I daresay though the scan also holds its own. I agree with Malcolm. What I find compelling in it's presentment is a reverse vignette effect. the light comes from all around the edges to sink within the abyss of the tin mill shell. Perhaps in retrospect it is like this faint globe we ride, whose light surely fades into the nothingness of the universe.

@heliossstardeath profound words Wayne, I don't know where they come from, I wish I was as articulate. Thanks again mate, did you see jakobs recent tasma portraits? They are sublime.
