right place right time... walking down the beach one evening when a crazy storm rolled in and a airforce acrobatic display erupted across the sky... my horizon was loaded with some expired kodak 160t that the awesome @trw gave me, the dark and stormy nature of the film goes spot on with the rad display in the sky
Well, I haven't been online much lately. All the images in this album were made in the darkroom. I find it so relaxing to print one image in the middle of the night, and spend several hours getting it just right. There is so much more artistry to printing than scanning, I've loved learning about filtering, burning, dodging, and splitting grades. So worth it, if you get a chance to try printing go ahead!
This is the fire tower and former ranger's cabin on Hadley mountain.
I'm going to write an article about this film but basically it was left in a cabin in Cape Breton, Canada for 20 long summers and winters, forgotten, until a Lomographer friend came to stay, poked through some draws and got it developed.
a short trip for 3 days with family and friends to okayama prefecture, staying in an old traditional japanese house in the countryside in the middle of nowhere... just beautiful...
Me and Efke IR820 have a "Love & Hate" relationship. I try to do as much reading as possible with film and gather information. Today I tried something different; rather then shoot it at 400iso; I shot at 100iso. My results were much better; but still a bit all over the place.
There is this crazy person i know who writes wild music and poetry. He takes great photos, too. Sometimes i help him write some music, but in the end i have no idea what is happening... :) http://www.facebook.com/slowbunnymusic
This was taken during one lunch break (I have to get out of here that day or I would go insane). Just a couple of miles from my office. Sometimes we need to remind ourselves that we don’t have to look far to see God’s handiwork. Hope you enjoy.
I shot these with my LCA+ with Wide Angle Lens...while holding my finger over the "light metering bubble"...and using the Diana F+ "free hand", off in different locations. I played with holding the Diana F+ flash at different angles and at different arm lengths.

You would think that there would be some green grass in some of the shots by the first of May - no such luck, spring has been pretty slow coming around here. Today was fairly clear and mildly warm day, so I took the kids for a walk to the neighbourhood park. The way that we usually walk takes us right past this yard with an odd plastic blue owl perched on the fence. I'm not sure why he's there, and I don't think the owl knows either.
