The Nanzen-Ji is a quiet place, compared to other touristic spots in Kyoto. We took the time to explore - and behind the aqueduct, just a short walk through the trees, one can find a lovely small temple, the Kotoku-an. Nobody's there except us. A lovely and serene place totally out of time, out of the city.
