So three tests going on here....first of all I found a Canon EOS 3000 for $15 and so i had to pick it up. It's a very lightweight body and is a whole 1/2 pound lighter than the 7E. So I thought that for travel it would be nice to have plus it's simpler so less to go wrong. The camera performed very well and only had one incident of the shutter sticking which is very common with these EOS film cameras. The second test was the 40mm pancake lens that Canon released this spring. Nice lens! Sharp and extremely compact, very light as well. Another great travel option. Third test was the Kodak Ektar 100. I haven't used this film before but it performed rather well I thought. Typical CN look to it but it does have the fine grain that Kodak touts.

I visited my friend in New Zealand and together we went to Australia, for my the other side of the world. I took some photos but my camera broke, so lots of them are lost or have lightleaks.

If only we were two then things could be easier -- we'd finish tasks earlier, discover more places, and meet more people in this world. But then, that's a magic we still can't accomplish, that's why the illusion of double exposing is here! (POTD 05.05.12)
