First two rolls with the Belair. I'm pleased. Not as versatile as my Mamiyas; but it's not as heavy.

I found some time to scan the first shots taken with my brand-new Belair jetsetter. I am quite satisfied with the first results, especially the panoramic shots, but I need to get used to the viewfinder and the sharpness of the shots is not really overwhelming to say the least...

first two test-rolls with my Belair Jetsetter... unfortunately they are quite over-exposed and not really what I was hoping for. I think I was too pessimistic with the light. it's fun to shoot, but I see I have much to learn...

    shared by blueskyandhardrock on 2012-12-20

I am really not very happy with the BelAir camera and am kinda regretting that I bought it. Not only did the physical camera fall apart on me a few hours after I took it out of the box but the lenses are also not very good. I like the idea of it's format flexibility, though, and I might buy some of the glass lenses... maybe I can get better results then...

    shared by fruchtzwerg_hh on 2013-04-25

Well, everybody derserves a second chance, so I did a little walk with the Belair in better light conditions. And this time the automatic shutter worked quite well. But still the Wide-Angle-Lens is quite a disappointment, when it comes to sharpness and the framing & composing is a real challenge, because you don't get what you see.

    shared by trw on 2013-01-07

My first roll with the Belair is a bit of a disappointment. The camera certainly got a bunch of attention on the Midway and in Balboa Park, but I was disappointed with the photos. In my opinion, the pictures lack the sharpness and brightness I expected. I'll try again with another type of film and better lighting...and my fingers crossed. ;-)

    shared by dreamseller on 2013-03-17

... are not really good friends. on a short trip to see My Bloody Valentine in Birmingham I had some spare time in London. As the weather was really wet, snowy, windy and just not nice to stay out, I just made a few shots with my Belair Jetsetter. I should have listened to my experience and just use her in really bright conditions. Nevertheless, two or three of these shots I like :)!
