From a roll I shot in 2018. Says it's "Snap Sights 800"? I'm guessing maybe I yanked it out of a disposable camera but I have no real memory of it, so maybe it was just a regular ol' roll of film. Clearly expired.
Sometimes I take pics like this to help remember what camera I used for a particular roll of film. Other times I take them because I feel pretty. I like the AE-1 but a man can keep only so many cameras and I decided I like the A-1 more so this one is no longer with me.
Just a picture on my phone that I took yesterday of me and Ben at his oncology appointment. It was so strange to have to go through a screening line to enter the hospital and have to wear a mask (until now that’s been normal for my husband but not me). I was fortunate to be able to attend the appointment because they were not going to allow anyone to come with him but did approved me to come since we had other appointments and came from a distance.
A collection of empty Jolly Rancher wrappers. Sometimes these empty wrappers will accumulate near me as I try to cope, until I can go throw them away. Over the past few months I’ve been slowly eating hard candy when my anxiety is super intense or sometimes during emotional or somatic flashbacks. It helps to notice the flavor to try to ground myself and cope. I know it’s not the healthiest option to be using candy and it’s also healthier than some things I’ve done to cope.
