It was not a very successful experience with this camera, at times it malfunctioned, which is why several frames were not captured, and as it turned out after the development, the camera's focus is bad, out of 24 frames we got only 10, which I more or less liked..

Kentmere 400 in the Praktica MTL5 with a Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar f/2.2 50mm lens. Developed in HC110, Dil H for 12 minutes. I don't really like this lens as much as I would like. I couldn't figure out why until I developed this roll in the same tank as a roll of the same film that I ran through a Pentax K1000 SE with Asahi glass. It is the contrast. The 'Lesser Tessar,' having been produced in East Germany under Soviet control is just not as contrasty as I like. What I've manage here is done mostly in post. Next time I shoot with this camera I will try help this glass with a filter. I will say that I am a big fan of the shutter release on the front of the Praktica.

A nice accident turned out amazing. The camera did not advance properly the film and both frames now are blended as one. I really liked the tones of the LomoChrome Color '92 shot on Lensbaby Twist 60

When I was young I made a photo report of a Dutch farmer. He milked his cows by hand in the meadow. The photos I took with an old Voigtländer Vito and I developed the film and the prints in Amaloco products. I had a Crocus enlarger and used Agfa paper.

Speed shooting with my new Agfa Optima Parat. This 60 year old half frame camera meters the light by a selenium cell (still working after 60 years!) and calculates the exposure. You just have to adjust the focus by estimating the distance and choosing the corresponding focus zone. 72 pictures are a lot. So I went out to the Externsteine and my beloved museum (Freilichtmuseum Detmold) to test the camera. All shots were appropriately exposed. And for most of them I choosed the focus distance well. On this day the light was not spectacular. So the resulting photographs are certainly not top shots. But they show that the camera takes pictures reliably and the operation is uncomplicated.
