To the Land of Shadows
These are photos I took on my Smena 8m 35mm camera during my trip to the notorious Chernobyl area, Ukraine, where a catastrophic nuclear accident occurred back in 1986. The most interesting object for me there was the abandoned Pripyat town, where workers of the nuclear station had been living. The scenery of abandoned houses, clubs, stores, amusement park and streets overgrown with grass and trees is captivating. The only signs of life there are graffiti, which look like shadows of past life. Another few photos are about jazz festival, full of vibrance and feelings, which I tried to depict. #skillsharerumble
