In Spring, swampfog floods & muffles the oak hammock outside my cabin. These cool & quiet mornings, one's world is made simple, reduced to only the most immediate & tangible (the trees, the birds, the grass soft beneath bare feet, the dawn blooming in rosy iridescent hues). All else - the worry & tangle, the sad human mayhem of the world beyond, is forgotten in the fog.
